The Job
This will depend on your background in, experience of and passion for, toxicology and risk assessment. However, all experts in TKT are expected to be able to produce toxicological evaluations and carry out risk assessments of chemical substances and medicines according to regulatory regulations under time pressure. You are also expected to be able to create clear and correct communications in writing and speech in the English language. The work is carried out both in the form of single, short assignments as well as within the framework of projects. Last but not least, you will work with a group of forward-looking and experienced colleagues, which means that you are never alone and will contribute high quality services to our customers.
Education and skills
University education at PhD or Master’s level as a pharmacist or in chemistry, ecotoxicology, toxicology, biomedicine or other area deemed relevant is required. It is advantageous if you have several years of experience performing drug/chemical risk assessments in one or more of the following areas:
- Regulatory Toxicology (project leader)
- GLP Toxicology Study Director/Study Monitor
- Genetic Toxicology
- Computational Chemistry/Toxicology
- REACH and CLP legislations
- Biologics/New modalities
- Safety Pharmacology
- Ecotoxicology
- Endocrine disruption by chemicals
- Occupational Safety
Corresponding experience and competence from regulatory authorities is considered equivalent. This position is not right for those of you who lack several years of experience outside academia.
You will succeed as a risk assessor and expert consultant if you are a confident and responsive communicator, are analytical and structured in your thinking with a large dose of creativity.
TKT is curious if there is a new colleague who lives in a place other than the Stockholm area but within Sweden. Most of our work is done digitally. In addition, we have access to office space in another location. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you are also curious!
