Education and skills
University education at the Bachelor or Master’s level as a pharmacist or in chemistry, ecotoxicology, toxicology or biomedicine is required. It is advantageous if you have demonstrated interest in the following areas:
- Experimental models of pharmacology and toxicology
- Genetic Toxicology
- Computational Chemistry/Toxicology
- REACH and CLP legislations
- Biologics/New modalities
- Safety Pharmacology
- Ecotoxicology
- Endocrine disruption by chemicals
- Occupational Safety
You will succeed as a risk assessor and expert consultant if you are a confident and responsive communicator, are analytical and structured in your thinking with a large dose of creativity.
Experience gained at TKT can lead to becoming a European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) and we will support you in achieving that.
